A new board game café which hopes to equip autistic people with employment skills will open its doors today. 

 

Boards and Brews is located on Church Street in Douglas above the Rover's Return Pub - it's designed to bring people together in a fun and comfortable setting. 

 

Jenny Brew has been working for the last three months to source the items needed to make it a reality - she says the aim is to give those with autism a helping hand.

 

She says from her personal experience people on the spectrum, and their loved ones, are often at a disadvantage.
