The Bishop of Sodor and Mann has announced his retirement.

 

Robert Paterson, who has served as Diocesan (pronounced DI-O-SISS-IN) Bishop since 2008, said he will officially end his term on November 11th.

 

He says retirement will be 'an interesting experience after all these years, but something to look forward to and relish.'
