An elderly man had to be rescued from Garwick Bay on Tuesday after his mobility scooter went off-road.
Douglas Coastguard was called into action at 10.27am - the man's scooter had become lodged in vegetation between the cliff path and the river below.
Two members of the public had helped the man to safety - coastguard officers checked him and his wife over and say despite being 'shook up' they were fine.
They retrieved the mobility aid and the couple's vehicle which had also become stuck - you can see a picture of the rescue on our website.
