'Prime-time slot' for Southern 100 race coverage

Footage from this year's Southern 100 International Road Races will be broadcast on ITV4 tonight.

Greenlight TV has secured a one-hour show at 8pm which will highlight the action from the 2016 meeting.

It's the first time the company has been able to secure a 'prime-time slot'.

Race bosses say they hope showing the racing on 'such a popular channel' will encourage more racing fans and enthusiasts to visit the Billown Course in the future.
