Work is underway to tackle the way alcohol and drug misuse is approached on the Isle of Man.
A new Drug and Alcohol Strategy is being compiled by the Department of Health and Social Care with a number of agencies having input including the police.
Around half of all arrests made on the Island involve alcohol - over the last year 251 licensing offences were committed with 118 of those being people who were drunk and disorderly.
