Heroes on the Water returns to the Island today

Injured veterans are taking part in a fishing competition today as part of efforts to help boost their recovery.

They're on the Island for Heroes on the Water - a rehabilitation program for members of the military, emergency services and others who've been injured physically or emotionally.

The event in Port Erin Bay will involve kayak fishing - all funds raised will go to the charity.

Leisure centre manager Martin Hurst says it's becoming a popular way of healing those who've been injured:
