Animal attacks on 'post people' on the rise

12 'post people' on the Island have been attacked and physically injured by dogs in the last year.
That's according to the Isle of Man Post Office - it says there have also been many more 'near misses' and stand offs with canines.
One office in the south has reported punctured wounds to legs, brusied and broken skin on thighs, bitten fingers and ankles and threatening behaviour from the animals.
Postmen and women are now being given advice on how to keep themselves safe through an internal awareness campaign.
