Vulnerability at core of police work says Chief Constable

Crime on the Isle of Man accounts for one fifth of the overall demand on police officers.
That's according to the Chief Constable - he's published his annual report which reviews policing over the last year and looks ahead to the next 12 months.
Crime figures have fallen to a level last witnessed in 1970 however Gary Roberts says the task of protecting vulnerable people has continued to grow in "scale and complexity".
He says in the next year "stark choices" will have to be made to meet competing demands whilst maintaining the neighbourhood policing model:
