Suspended MHK to defend seat at election

Suspended MHK John Houghton has confirmed he will be putting his name forward in the upcoming General Election.

The Douglas North politician has told the station he intends to defend his seat in September.

He says when he was first sworn in he promised he would do things without 'fear or favour' and intends to continue this work.

Ralph Peake and Lynn Sirdefield have also announced their intension to secure the Douglas North constituency.
