Concerns raised about driving test waiting times

Concerns have been raised about driving test waiting times following criticism of the process.

In Tynwald this week Michael MHK Alf Cannan asked the Infrastructure Minister for the average waiting times are for processing applications and test dates.

It follows complaints from the public who are experiencing problems with the system - Phil Gawne said he was aware of the delays and blamed it on a staffing resource issue and 'an unusual surge' in applications.
