Ayre Clay Target Club had another very busy weekend at Blue Point range, with three competitions being held over the two days.
Saturday’s competition was the Side x Side Manx Championship, sponsored by J W Kneen & Son. Marty Kneen was the winner, with Kevin Oates in second and Eddie Brew taking third place. Jack Kneen was the Junior winner.
Sunday morning was the fourth round of the DTL Summer League, kindly sponsored by Dave and Pam Corlett. Martin Kneen was the winner on 49/145. Mike Walker was second on 48/141 with Neil Parsons in third on 47/138.
Finally, the afternoon shoot on Sunday was the third round of the Top Spec Fencing sponsored Double Trap league. Neil Parsons was the winner on 46/60 from Jake Keeling on 44. Kevin Oates was third on 42.

A Class: 1, Marty Kneen 145; 2, Mike Walker 141; 3, Neil Parsons 138.
B Class: 1, Ben Richards 137; 2, Corina Clague 124; 3, R Corlett 108.
C Class: 1, Jordan Dougherty 113; 2, Peter Lowe 92.
This week at Blue Point is a 100 target Olympic Trap Selection Shoot, incorporating the Adam Slater Memorial Trophy. Entries close at 10.30am.
