Peel lifeboat called out for broken down yacht

The Peel lifeboat was launched last night for a Mayday call.

The all weather vessel was tasked with assisting a yacht which was experiencing engine problems.

The boat was on its way to Peel and was only three miles out when the the RNLI arrived - the owner had restarted his vessel without assistance so the crew accompanied him safely back to Peel.
