Onchan schoolchildren safe after 'security threat'

Police have confirmed all children from a school in Onchan have been safely collected following a 'security threat'.

They were being looked after by teaching staff and police officers at Onchan Community Centre following the threat at Ashley Hill Primary School this morning.

Officers haven't yet released any details about the nature of the incident.
