Kevin Oates shot 98/100 to win Ayre Clay Target Club’s annual Tommy Shimmin Memorial Trophy for English Skeet at Blue Point on Sunday in near perfect conditions.  Second was Paul Mihailovits on 97 and third was Marty Kneen on 96.

 

The first 50 targets were for the third round of the Summer League, kindly sponsored by Penketh-Millar Architectural Design.  Paul Mihailovits and Steve Brew tied for first place, with Dave Corlett and Kevin Oates in joint third place.

 

Results of Penketh-Millar English Skeet league:

A Class: 1= Paul Mihailovits & Steve Brew 49; 2= Kevin Oates and Dave Corlett 48.

B Class: 1, Mark Riley 45; Keith Jones 44; 3, Jake Brew 43.

C Class: 1= Martin Malone and Madeline Simpson 44; 3 Gareth Hooson-Owen.

 

The orange wigs in the photo were in support of the Anaphylaxis Campaign.
