Tenants sought to run Knockaloe Farm
Mon, 23 May 2016
Investors are being sought to 'breathe new life' into Knockaloe Farm.
The 337-acre plot has been put on the market with local estate agents until the end of July.
After ceasing its operation on the land in 2010 - the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is now hoping to attract an 'anchor' tenant who will 'unlock' its economic potential.
The department wants the new tenant to incorporate visitor attractions, education, local food and heritage - as well as opening up the farm for visitors to enjoy.
