Faulty sensor sparks southern fire call out

A faulty motion sensor in a basement car park sparked a fire call out last night.

Firefighters from Port Erin attended the Imperial Heights apartment block after reports of a burning smell.

They isolated the electrical supply and an electrician was called to rectify the fault.
