Ben-My-Chree returning to dry dock ahead of TT

The Ben-my-Chree will go back into dry dock ahead of the TT period.

The Steam Packet says it's going in for a 'precautionary inspection' and while there engineers will investigate the cause of an 'unexplained vibration' from the propellers.

The vessel will be out of action on Tuesday next week and is scheduled to leave the following evening - resuming sailings from Heysham on the Thursday.

Manannan will accommodate the change to the schedule and the MV Arrow will cover freight services.
