New primary school will provide 'improved education'

A new purpose-built primary school in Douglas will 'massively' improve the learning experience for children and teachers.
The Henry Bloom Noble School is replacing Fairfield primary and Ballacloan infant schools - the old Victorian buildings are no longer fit for purpose.
It will open in September - it has flexible and open plan classrooms, specialised facilities such as sensory and therapy rooms and larger play areas.
The school has cost £9.5 million but will be coming in under budget - headteacher Ian Walmsley is excited about what it means for his students' education:
