Queen's baton touring the Island today

The Queen's baton will arrive on Island today as a part of its tour of the commonwealth countries.
The Captain-General's Baton is marking 300 years of the Royal Artillery Regiment's service - it's visiting the Island in recognition of our long standing relationship.
It's been circumnavigating the world since May 1st last year and will end up at is final destination in Larkhill on May 26th.
Major Glen Espie say's it's an honour and a mark of respect for the men who served from the Isle of Man.
