Students have been given the opportunity to experience a Tynwald sitting. 

 

Each year sixth form students do their sittings separately - but this year the Island's high schools convened at the wedding cake building to collaborate their ideas.

 

Organisers hope that by getting young people involved in the political process they might feel encouraged to vote.

 

We spoke to some of the students about what they enjoyed about the day:
