MHK criticises pension communication campaign

Pensioners on the Isle of Man haven't been given enough information about changes to the state pension:

Michael MHK Alf Cannan queried the Treasury's 'public information campaign' in the House of Keys yesterday - stating that many of his constituents felt they weren't sure how changes would impact on them.

Minister Eddie Teare responded by saying his department has made a "considerable effort" to inform the public about what he called the "very important issue".

He said they've made information public and contacted people coming up to retirement age and so far have had no complaints about their approach:
