Penalty reminder as tax deadline looms

Employers and contractors are being threatened with penalties ahead of the imminent tax return deadline.

The Income Tax Division says people can expect a £250 penalty - as well as liability for a £50 per day charge if the form remains outstanding.

Returns for this financial year are due on May 5th - they can be submitted online via the government website.
