Plans to corporatise the Isle of Man Post Office have been rejected.
A number of politicians questioned the motives of transferring the statutory office to a government run company in Tynwald yesterday.
It was one of six recommendations drawn up by an independent consultant - the court voted in favour of the principle of corporatisation but the five other suggestions failed to carry.
