It's still not known why a major heath fire started in the west of the Island on Saturday night.
Firefighters spent almost three hours tackling the blaze near Dalby - with crews from Douglas, Peel, Castletown, Kirk Michael, Port Erin and Laxey attending.
Officers from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture were also there due to the 'ecologically sensitive' area involved.
The Round Table road was closed whilst firefighters ferried water to the area - with the fire extinguished by 11.45pm.
