Police are hunting an arsonist who tried to set a Douglas car park on fire earlier this month.
They broke a plastic box on the ceiling of the Chester Street compound before inserting a cigarette lighter and setting it on fire.
It happened at some point between 8am on April 7th and 7.20am the following day.
Officers say whilst it's fortunate the fire didn't spread it could have been "very serious" and potentially endangered the building and the lives of those using it.
