Police are appealing for help in catching a thief who broke into a sandwich shop and stole a charity collection box.
It happened at Jamie's Kitchen on Prospect Hill in Douglas sometime between 11.30am on Saturday, April 2nd and 10am on Sunday, April 3rd.
The offender forced the front door, causing damage to the locking mechanism, and once inside took the yellow RNLI box from the front counter.
Officers say the offence is made worse by the fact the item stolen contained donations from the public for a "very worthwhile charity" which provides an "essential" service.
