Coastguard rescue injured walker

A walker had to be rescued yesterday after falling and injuring herself on a coastal footpath.

Port Erin Coastguard was called to the woman who had hurt her ankle between the Calf and Spanish Head.

She was assisted to the road by the team and then transferred to Noble's Hospital by ambulance.
