Would zoning coastal waters help conserve a healthy marine environment for fisheries on the Isle of Man?
A public consultation has been launched looking at whether 4,000 square kilometres of Manx territorial sea, between the shoreline and three miles out, should be zoned.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is looking for residents to contribute ideas on how it could be achieved.
The consultation also seeks opinion on a second Manx marine nature reserve - Dr Peter Duncan is a fisheries project officer and explains how it could benefit the economy:
