Steam Packet fast craft Manannan is back on the seas - but has the company over-promised customers and under-delivered?
It's chief executive doesn't think so.
The vessel was supposed to be back in service on Wednesday last week after crashing into Victoria Pier on March 23rd - sustaining serious damage.
It was delayed until Thursday due to a 24-hour hold up in dry dock - following that, passengers then had to wait for the next 'undocking' tide yesterday morning.
It's back in use after it's first successful sailing to Liverpool - Mark Woodward says contingency planning did prove effective:
