International cycling event to kick off next month

The first Manx International Cycling Grand Prix will take place next month.

Despite producing world-class cyclists, an event hasn't been held for elite riders here in over a decade.

Organisers hope it will re-establish the Island as a 'respected high-level competitive venue'.

There's an expectation that it'll lead to a bid to host the GB National Championships in 2018.
