Residents' bravery praised after appearance on 'Countryside 999'

Residents appearing in a documentary on the Manx ambulance service are being praised for their bravery.
The Island's chief ambulance officer says staff and patients have been recognised for their part in BBC TV series 'Countryside 999'.
The programme aired during February and March with the permission of members of the Manx public - who agreed to be filmed as part of the project.
Staff responded to over 8,000 emergency calls over the course of 2015 - Russell Thornhill says it's proved positive for the service, and the Island as a whole:
