Money will be saved by implementing cashless catering in all of the Island's secondary schools.
That's the message from the Department of Education and Children which has rolled out the system in its five schools.
It's in a bid to remove cash completely from the school setting - an online portal now allows parents and students to pre-load money onto their cards from home.
