Repair work is due to start at The Bowl today after flooding forced the closure of the sporting facility.
It was badly hit in December last year with flood water covering a least a third of the pitch.
Extensive sampling and testing has since been carried out to ascertain the extent of the damage.
It's believed the total repair bill for the pitch, NSC complex and surrounding areas could reach £2.5 million.
