Taxpayers will not be made to foot the multi-million pound bill incurred as a result of extensive flooding at the NSC.
That's according to the Education and Children Minister who says government's insurance will take care of the £2.5 million costs.
Heavy rain in December last year wiped out many of the sporting facilities at the centre and The Bowl - although progress is being made many activities have had to be relocated to other venues.
Tim Crookall says external contractors are being brought in to do the work and plans are in place to future proof the facility in case of more bad weather:
