One million pounds to be spent on improving railway station

Permission has been granted to spend over £1 million revamping Douglas Railway Station.

Tynwald has agreed to support the Department of Infrastructure's capital project - although not everyone was in favour.

The department argues that the project will pay for itself in the long term.
