Rape accused to be committed in April

Committal proceedings against a Ramsey man accused of rape will take place next month.

31-year-old Philip Baillie appeared at Douglas Courthouse via live video link on Tuesday.

It's alleged he carried out the offence between February 3rd and February 5th. 

He'll be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on April 5th - there was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until that date.
