Dependability Limited has no involvement in the assessment process of people who claim Disability Living Allowance.
Treasury has confirmed the controversial company - which it appointed to carry out checks on incapacity benefit claimants - is totally separate.
Disability living allowance is a benefit paid to people who become disabled or terminally ill before the age of 65 - claims are normally valid for a three year period before being reviewed.
