No figures released on zero-hour contracts

It's too "complicated" to provide figures for the number of public service staff who are working on zero-hour contracts.

That's despite a request from Onchan MHK Peter Karran who asked for the statistics in the House of Keys earlier this week.

He has concerns the employment practice could be creating an "underclass" adding that unions have also expressed their worries.
