Homelessness charities on the Isle of Man are more 'life changing' than ever before.

 

Housing Matters board member Jo Cutsforth says it's no longer about providing a short-term solution with bed and board - peoples situation's have become far more complex.

 

It's suggested that there are no figures for the amount of displaced people on the Island because no case is the same. 

 

Having experienced it first hand - Jo says when she turned up at the door of a women's refuge some years ago, she wasn't alone.
