Trial for man accused of possessing indecent images

A Port Erin man will stand trial after being accused of possessing over 3,500 indecent images of children.

57-year-old Ian Mcloughlin appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week where committal proceedings took place.

He's been charged with 10 offences of possessing, making or publishing the still and moving images between November 2007 and October 2015.

Bail was granted until his next court appearance which will be before the Court of General Gaol Delivery on a date to be fixed.
