Zero-hour contracts under fire in House of Keys

Zero-hour contracts for public sector workers will be under fresh scrutiny in the House of Keys today.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask the Chief Minister how many people are recruited on that basis and for that number to be broken down by grade.

Earlier this year it was announced that almost 800 healthcare staff are contracted by government for no guaranteed minimum number of hours.
