Respect and understanding - that's what the Island's newest police recruits say they'll take to the streets with them when they're ready for life on the beat.

Eight student constables are in the middle of their training - last week some of their work focussed on diversity and human rights.

Harry Jones and Sophie Dvorakova say it's important they gain an understanding of the Island's diverse, and changing, population:
