Port Soderick revamp 'can only be good news'

Redeveloping the 'forlorn' Port Soderick site can only be good news for the Isle of Man.

That's the message from the Chief Minister after it was revealed that Heritage Great Britain has acquired the hamlet.

Discussions are continuing between government and the developer over the "potential redevelopment" of the site although Allan Bell says he hasn't been privy to those talks.

He says any investment into the area, which used to be a tourist hotspot, will be welcomed:
