Town centre 'buoyant' as vacancy rate holds steady

Town centre bosses say they're "optimistic" about the outlook for the future of Douglas.

It's after the retail vacancy rate, in the regeneration areas, held at 10 per cent for another consecutive month.

The Douglas Development Partnership says the town is becoming more service driven with empty units being filled by businesses offering services that can't be bought online.
