MHK describes ditching police stations as 'lunacy'

Scrapping police stations in Douglas and Port Erin is nothing short of 'lunacy'.

That's according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran - he's looking for answers from the Home Affairs Minister in the House of Keys next week saying millions of pounds of taxpayers' cash has been wasted.

Adding a new custody block to Police Headquarters will enable the department to move all operations out of the Lord Street facility.
