Police retirements prompt officer firearms training

Seven police officers have been trained to deal with firearms incidents after a wave of retirements:
They've learnt how to handle a number of different weapons including light automatic rifles, handguns and tasers.
The comprehensive seven week training programme was led by accredited local instructors.
The Home Affairs Minister says he believes it's particularly pivotal because we're an Island nation - Inspector Derek Flint agrees:
