Paramedics working on the Island have revealed the majority of their call-outs are to help older people in distress.
The admission was made by members of the Isle of Man Ambulance Service in a new BBC documentary series which aired yesterday.
They were filmed for the Countryside 999 programme which follows rural emergency services across the British Isles.
