St Helen's man remanded after alleged assault

A Merseyside man has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after being charged with assaulting a woman at a hotel.

46-year-old Ian Plant declined to enter a plea to the offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Douglas Courthouse last week.

It relates to an alleged incident at the Sefton Express Hotel in Castletown on February 22nd.

An application for bail was refused - the St Helen's man will next appear in court tomorrow.
