Hopes Starbucks could boost retail sector

Coffee giant Starbucks' arrival on the Isle of Man could help boost the retail sector in Douglas.

That's the message from the Douglas Development Partnership after queues formed outside the new coffee shop on Victoria Street on launch day yesterday.

It says the opening of any new business usually has a positive impact for other retailers in the town.
