Economic growth factored into conservation planning

Nunnery Estate conservation planning was used as an example in the House of Keys this week.
Conservation planning is being slowed down to factor in economic growth.
That's Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas who's queried when, how and who decides on recommendations to designate and extend areas.
The Cabinet Office has slowed the movement of a bill to ensure treatment of cases like the ICT at the Nunnery is in the interests of all parties involved.
An architect from the Institute of Historic Building Conservation visited to help inform on its approach last week - Mr Thomas explains how it helped:
